2.3.2011

Turin - Poland

We talked with the Polish students about the song we chose and they agreed on the song that we chose, it will probably be “Knockin on heaven’s door” by Bob Dylan.

We proposed them to change the stanzas talking about the own school life and the own nation.

The final purpose is to create a song that talks about Europe and the Comenius project.

They will try to change one of the stanzas and we will do it too, so we'll see them again in a week.

Besides, Friday the 11th March we and they (and also Parma) will take some (about 20) pictures of our own class during the lessons and the school activities, that we will use during the playing of the song. We (Turin) will arrange them in a video.

All of these final agreements were communicated by our teacher/supervisor also to Parma supervisor.

  • The choice of the song “Knocking on heaven's door” is confirmed, which will be turned into "Knocking on Europe's door", and words will be changed accordingly.

  • Also the idea of taking pictures on 11th March is confirmed

  • Our Polish friends have a big surprise for us: they sing and play the song (with words already changed) live for us! They don't sing badly at all!! It's very nice of them and entertaining too! Next Skype meeting: in 2 weeks.
